Kristin Ess, the hair goddess behind Lauren Conrad and Lucy Hale's gorgeous tresses recently released an affordable hair care line at Target! I have really flat fine hair, and the Instagram beauty shots that Kristin takes of Lauren Conrad and Lucy Hale's hair is always full of texture and volume - basically something I only wish my hair could do. So when Kristin announced that she was releasing an affordable hair care line at Target of all places, I knew I had to grab them and try them out for myself.

I'm back! As announced in my last post (a couple weeks ago *sigh*), all my weekends have been wedding planning focused which means the poor ole blog has been getting neglected. It hasn't been in vain however! I've gotten tons of planning done just in the past few weekends alone! But enough of that, today's post is about another star - the I'm From Honey Mask, which in short, I'm utterly obsessed with. Seriously, the hype around this mask is real and totally deserving.

I'm back from my hiatus! It's been a very eventful holiday season for me. As some of you may know, I am recently engaged! My parents were in town from California, and the next thing I know, wedding planning has gotten into full swing. It's very exciting, but stressful, and unfortunately the blog has to take a back-burner to the wedding planning. This means, my weekends will be dedicated to the wedding and not so much the blog unfortunately. From here on out until my wedding, blog posts won't be as consistent as before. This will be the only post of the week, and it's about new beauty items I've gotten as gifts for Christmas as well as some purchases over the holiday season.

Happy Monday! Christmas is just right around the corner and NYC has already had its first snow this past weekend. Due to the upcoming holidays, I'll be taking around a 2 week hiatus from the blog since my parents are coming into town and will be staying with me. Plus, the overcast is just way too depressing and it makes for terrible photo taking light.

Today we're going to talk about a product from one of my favorite skincare brands - Tatcha. Everything I've tried in store, as well as the one product I've bought full size from the brand (their rice enzyme powder) has felt amazing on my skin, and all of the products feel really luxurious. I want to eventually try every single one of their products. Now that I have the cleansing oil, it looks super nice when place next to the Rice Enzyme Powder. At this price point, the packaging and aesthetics should also look high end too am I right?
