1. NOVELTY: Love Harry Potter? Think you're a die-hard fan? Think again, this mother recreated Hogwarts and key scenes from the series - using legos!!

4. NOVELTY: I never really played Dominos when I was a kid, but I'm utterly impressed and speechless at this domino arrangement!

5. HOW-TOI'm still trying to get my Instragram to look a certain way, and it's definitely something that requires a bit of effort! Check out this informative post about Instagram apps and filters to up your Instagram game!

6. VIDEOI'm really dumb when it comes to contouring, and most articles or posts about contouring aren't really helpful. Finally however, I found a video that is actually helpful and simple enough that gives me the courage to actually at least try it out.

Makeup Philosophies - Weekday versus Weekend Makeup

I can't be the only one who wears different makeup on the weekend than during the weekday right? My philosophy for weekday makeup is different from my weekend makeup since during the weekday my makeup has to last around 10 hours. Since I wear makeup 5 days out of the week, I like to let my skin rest and breathe as much as I can during the weekend.

Product Review: Innisfree Jeju Super Volcanic Clay Mask & Steam Towel

The volanic pore clay mask is one of Innisfree's most famous products, and as the name suggests, the mask contains volcanic minerals and rock. When I visited Korea, I was able to visit a hot spring spa resort that had thermal spring water running throughout the pipes. The water did amazing things for my skin such as calming down any redness, alleviating any active blemishes, as well as healing my post-acne scars. My mother, who was born in a town famous for its hot springs, was not surprised as she has long known the benefits of hot spring water. Subsequently, when I saw Innisfree's volcanic mask, I knew I wanted to try it out and see whether it would benefit my skin in a similar way that the hot springs did.

Beauty Discourse: Build Your Own Spa Day

I don't know about you, but at the end of the week I feel and look exhausted most of the time. Although I try to have a social life on the weekends, I also reserve some "me-time" during the weekend as well. Around one to two times a month, I indulge in a "spa day" where I pamper my skin and allow it to recuperate. I group together several products in order to create a multi-step spa session. It's easy to create your own and you probably already have most of these products in your beauty drawer already!

Product Review: Lohasys Snail Active Hydro Gel Eye Patch

I don't really pay any special attention besides the normal nightly eye cream to my under-eye area since I'm lucky that don't have dark circles (well, usually and very rarely I don't, read the review about when I did!). However, I purchased this on a whim in Korea because I've always wanted to try under-eye patches. There aren't a lot of companies in the States that make under-eye patches, so I was curious to try them.

The Technical Side of Beauty - Tools I Can't Live Without

Besides makeup brushes, there are other beauty tools that I use everyday that really make a difference in my skin and makeup application. I can't imagine being without these beauty tools since they are just as crucial as my skincare in my beauty routine.

Functional but Stylish Work Bags that Make Your Commute Easier

Image Source: Nude Bag | Black Bag

I just recently bought a work bag since the tote I had was just not cutting it. My biggest annoyance with the tote was that it was completely unstructured and lacked a cross-body shoulder strap. For those of you who commute to work in a car, you're one of the lucky ones who can pretty much wear any bag they want. For the unlucky ones (like me) who have to commute using public transportation, we need a bag that would make the morning commute more bearable.

Home Discourse: Some of My Current Favorite Interiors

Ever since I was little (we're talking as young as elementary school), I loved looking at houses and their interiors. It's no wonder when The Sims came out that I immediately jumped on that game since it's every interior/house designer's dream come true. I'm always on the lookout for beautiful interiors online and from my favorite interior design blogs and like every other woman, I pin it onto my Pinterest. Here are some of my current favorite interiors straight from my interior design Pinterest board.

Beauty Discourse: Overnight Masks

I remember a time when facial masks usually meant the type that you slather on your face and then wash off after 10-20 minutes. A lot of masks are still like that, but I've already featured two overnight masks on the blog as well as raved about how they keep my skin super hydrated in the winter and on flights when I travel. I thought it was only fitting that I dedicated a post just to overnight masks seeing how they are wonderful beauty products! Although I feature my usual six picks after the jump, you only really need one that works well with your skin! Take at look at some possible options after the jump.

Product Review: Hera UV Mist Cushion Foundation in N13 & N21

Since it is very difficult to purchase Hera products in the US, I was very excited to be able to purchase the Hera UV Mist Cushion when I was in Korea. I was really excited to purchase this since the Laneige BB Cushion didn't work out for me (reviewed here), especially since most of the research I came across had good things to say about this particular cushion foundation. Although there are some great things about this foundation, there are several cons as well. Click through to read about it!
