My Current Skincare Routine - Spring 2015

I've realized that I've never done a current skincare post on the blog despite posting about my current favorite everyday makeup products twice (here and here). The types of products that I use everyday for my skincare don't change - I always use a toner, an essence, a serum, La Roche Posay's Effaclar Duo, a moisturizer, and an eye cream. Sometimes I change up the essence, the moisturizer, and the serum, but I've been loyal to my toner and Effaclar Duo! Click through to see what I'm currently using.

1. Innisfree Jeju Sparkling Mineral Essence - This is a new to me product, but I've already fallen completely in love with it (full review in yesterday's post here). It has a similar effect to a fermented essence, but in a serum form.

2. Michael Todd Blue Green Algae Toner (decanted in a Muji spray bottle) - A longtime favorite of mine. Michael Todd's products have been great for my acne prone skin, and I haven't found another toner that is great in both value and result-wise. It smells great, never stings or dries out my face, has antibacterial properties, and is geared towards acne prone skin.

3. IOPE Bio Essence - I always have some sort of fermented essence in my skincare routine. I'm currently using IOPE's Bio Essence and really like it. It's scentless and my skin soaks it in really quickly. My full review of the essence is here, and I have a full bottle of Missha's Time Revolution essence waiting to be used after I'm finished with IOPE's.

4. Shiseido Refining Moisturizer Enriched Cream - I've been using this cream for a little over a month now, and it's doing great things for my skin. My skin feels smoother, softer, and most importantly my skin is hydrated without feeling super greasy. Plus, it doesn't break me out! Full review along with the Softening Concentrate here.

5. La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo - My miracle acne product; it's the only OTC product that I've found that actually works against my adult acne. I apply this nightly to my face.

6. Kiehls Creamy Eye Treatment - After getting tired of my gel eye cream (Ole Henriksen's Ultimate Lift Eye Gel) feeling like it was just sitting on top of my skin without fully being absorbed by my skin, I decided it was long overdue to get a new eye cream. My skin definitely soaks in this cream and I do feel a difference in my under eye area after using it for the first week.
