I ❤ NY: Places to Buy Korean Makeup & Beauty Brands in NYC

One of the many great things about living in NYC is the plethora of shops that carry hard to find brands in the US. Although it's never going to be as good as Korea, NYC is a close second when it comes to finding Korean beauty brands. Slowly but surely, I've noticed that the Korean brands are opening up storefronts here and there in Manhattan and in Queens. Among the brands that have full standalone storefronts in New York are Club Clio, Skinfood, Tony Moly, Holika Holika, Missha, Nature Republic, and It's Skin. Click through to see the addresses of all these brands and more! Hint, most of the brands are located in Flushing, Queens so you can hit up all the storefronts in one trip!

Club Clio

This Korean brand is famous for their long-lasting lip tints and my all time favorite eyeliner - the Kill Black liquid eyeliner. Full review of it here!

Amore Store at the New World Mall: 136-20 Roosevelt Ave, Flushing, NY 11354

A brand that is found in department stores in Korea, IOPE was the first company that came out with the cushion foundation. My personal favorite however is their Bio Essence! Read my review here. IOPE is available at all Amore Shops in the US. There is an Amore shop located at the New World Mall in Flushing.

Tony Moly

Although you can find a select few Tony Moly items in Urban Outfitters stores, you can see the full range of products at their brick and mortar store in Flushing. Located across from the Amore store in New World Mall, make sure to pick up a peach hand cream!

Holika Holika
A cute brand that is themed around magic and witchcraft. They have super affordable products and their most famous product is the Pig Nose 3-step Blackhead Remover. Although their Jelly BB Cream is also a fan favorite.

One of the more harder brands to find in the US, O'HUI like IOPE is a department store brand in Korea. I have yet to see a place carry O'HUI's full line of products, but I have seen stores in NY carry some of the brand's skincare lines. Junio in Flushing is a beautifully curated store that carries some O'HUI products, as well as some other hard to find beauty brands like Bunny Rouge.

Probably one of my favorite Korean beauty brands. Innisfree is inspired by nature. The brand is affordable, but still feels like you're getting more bang for your buck due to the great results you get from their products. See my review of their newest line which is inspired by Jeju Island's thermal mineral waters here. For their famous volcanic ash clay mask, read my review here!

Famous for their BB Creams and the Time Revolution fermented essence, Missha is a staple beauty brand in Korea. It's also located conveniently in New World Mall along with Tony Moly and Amore. Check out my review of their Signature BB Cream here

Nature Republic
Location #1: 136-80 Roosevelt Ave Flushing, NY 11354

Similar to Innisfree where the company uses ingredients found in nature, Nature Republic's most famous product is their aloe vera gel which is priced at an amazing $6! The store in Flushing is huge, and they carry everything that is also sold in their stores in Korea.

It's Skin

41-15 Kissena Blvd QueensNY 11355

I'm not too familiar with It's Skin, but I do know that the are famous for their Prestige Snail cream and their Power 10 Formula serums. I'm particularly interested in the latter because they are 10 different serums with different targeted treatments like brightening, anti-wrinkle, antioxidants, and etc. Essentially, you're able to create your own custom serum concoction! Lastly, I know that the brand makes these adorable lip balms in the shape of macarons - who can resist that?!

Like the name suggests, Skinfood is a brand that centers around creating beauty products inspired by "food." The storefronts and displays make you feel like you're in a cute grocery store. With products like Rice Wash Off Mask, Peach Sake Toner, and Lettuce & Cucumber Essence, it's super fun to browse the shelves and their different product lines.

The Yeon
136-62 39th Ave, FlushingNY 11354

This store has a little bit of everything - Innisfree, Banila, Too Cool for School, and Etude House, it's a store that's curated with a little bit of the most popular products from different Korean beauty brands. It's worth stopping in every once in a while because some of the products change since the owner chooses what to import over depending on the popularity of the product.

The Face Shop
136-53 Roosevelt Ave Flushing, NY 11354

Well known for their Chia seed moisturizer and CC Cream, The Face Shop is a great place to start if you're just getting into Korean beauty products. The store is well organized by categories such as cleansing, skin care, hair care, and body care.
