Guide Guide for Him

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving! The third post in my gift guide series is for the men in your life! I have to say, this category is always the most difficult for me to write because I try to recommend more unique gifts in this category. This year, with a little help from my boyfriend, I think I've found some pretty unique gifts that should surprise the men in your life!

Fallout 4
I think I'm going to make it a tradition from now on to recommend one video game per year in the gift category for men! (if you didn't already know, I actually am a huge and avid video gamer). Fallout 4 is a must have game for that guy who loves to game. Many gamers, including myself, have been waiting over four years for this release to come out. It's available on multiple platforms including PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Lastly yes, I am currently playing it and it's amazing!

Asus Flip Chromebook
For the guy who is always on the go and attached to an electronic gadget at all times, get him a Chromebook. It's highly travel friendly and highly affordable (this particular model is under $250). While it isn't as powerful as a full fledged traditional laptop, it's perfect for on the go internet surfing, word processing, and email drafting.

Lab Cocktail Set
Doesn't this cocktail set look amazing?! Even if for some reason it isn't used often, it would still look awesome as a display. This gift is person for the guy who entertains often, or for the guy who just likes to concoct his own libations!

Kiehls Men's Starter Kit
This particular kit caught my eye because it contains 5 great products from the men's line at Kiehls including their immensely popular Facial Fuel moisturizer. It's a great gift for the guy who is into grooming, but doesn't want a skincare brand that is too "frou frou."

Maison Martin Margiela Jazz Club
This is on the list because it's worn by my boyfriend, and it smells so unique for a cologne. I can't really describe it, but the name Jazz Club is a highly appropriate name. The description on the bottle describes it as "The balmy base scent of musk, vanilla, tonka bean, vetiver, and tobacco leaves combine to evoke a familiar but forgotten moment—a night’s sojourn to a hidden jazz club." Go smell it for yourself, it's amazing!

So I know the photograph I chose is literally just a picture of what seems to be a computer component, but this little guy offers more than what meets the eye. The Raspberry Pi is a highly customizable and versatile mobile processor that can be modified into an emulator (a computer that plays old school retro games), a home theater, and even become the main processor for a robot. The possibilities are really endless, and it's the perfect gift for the super techie guy in your life! For more information, check out their website here.
