Product Review: Belif Aqua Bomb Moisturizer

Belif is one of the Korean beauty brands that are exclusively available at Sephora here in the States. It's a fairly new brand both in America and in South Korea as it is LG's newest beauty line. The whole line is fairly affordable with the most expensive item being at $48. Their star product that they are known for is the Aqua Bomb, a gel cream that "floods" the skin with hydration without leaving your skin oily and greasy.

Belif The True Cream Aqua Bomb, 1.68oz

Price: $38

A gel-cream that 'floods' the skin with a rush of refreshing hydration and minimizes the appearance of pores for soft, smooth, supple skin for normal to combination skin types, including oily skin, and dry skin types looking for a lightweight moisturizer.

This gel cream is definitely for those with normal-combination to oily skinned. If you have dry skin, it won't deliver enough moisture to your skin. You're better off going with the True Cream Moisturizing Bomb which claims to deliver moisturization for 24 hours. The gel is an icy blue color, and has a sort of bouncy texture when you scoop it out of the jar. I actually love the texture of the gel, it feels more hydrating than other gel moisturizers that I've used. I have oily skin, but my skin still feels hydrated and supple after I apply it. It has a light scent to it, I'm not sure what it is, but it's fairly relaxing and I can't really smell it when I'm applying it. It does look a bit shiny on your skin when you first apply it, but it sinks in fairly quickly and the shine disappears. Would I repurchase again? I would actually, I think this would be the ideal night time moisturizer in the summer time!

Concluding Remarks

This is a great affordable moisturizer that I think is worth the money. Most gel moisturizers don't feel that luxurious, but for reason when this is applied to the skin, the texture feels cooling and hydrating. If you don't want to buy the full size and just want to try out a sample of the product first, they do have a deluxe 0.84oz size available here
