Home Discourse: My Current Favorite Interiors

Happy Friday! I'm constantly pining onto my Pinterest board interiors that inspire me in hopes that one day I can incorporate some details into a future dream home. I've come across some gorgeous and amazing interiors lately, and I thought I'd share some of my current favorites.

Currently Loving - Diptyque Rosaviola Candle

I always look forward to any limited edition candles that Diptyque releases, but I'm very picky in which ones I actually purchase! At first glance, I wasn't very interested in Rosaviola, but then I read the candle was a combination of primarily rose & violet and that got me hooked since Violette is probably my favorite candle by Diptyque. It's a lovely candle with a unique and sophisticated scent that I have come to associate with Diptyque candles.

Product Review: Cremorlab Mineral Essence

Today I have another essence up for review! The Mineral Treatment Essence by Cremorlab is the first product that I have tried from the brand. Cremorlab's essence is made with their proprietary T.E.N. thermal water from Geumjin. It claims that the water has the "golden ratio" of calcium to magnesium which allows the body to absorb the product at peak capacity. Read ahead to see how it compares to the other essences I've tried.

Beauty Discourse: My "Triple Cleansing" Routine

I know, I know, for some it is already crazy enough that there is such a thing as "double cleansing," but recently I've noticed that my skin is looking super smooth, flake free, and more supple due to a new triple cleansing routine that I've been trying. As a disclaimer, I only wash my face once a day at night, and I wash my face the tail end of my shower after I've already done everything else.

Five Makeup Brushes I Can't Live Without

Although I have quite a few more makeup brushes on my vanity, there are five main brushes that I always seem to grab. With these five brushes, I pretty much can create my entire makeup look. If you're not a professional makeup artist, I believe that you don't have to spend an astronomical amount on makeup brushes to get quality brushes that are amazing at achieving beautiful looks. Out of the five brushes that I'm writing about today, the most expensive brush out of the five is $30!

My Everyday Jewelry Pieces

I don't wear much jewelry on a daily basis, but there are a couple pieces that I wear almost every single day. My more flashy jewelry tends to be costume jewelry (I love pieces from Bauble Bar or even Forever21), but I only wear statement jewelry for special events. For everyday pieces, I prefer jewelry that is understated and classic, and that you're able to wear with almost any outfit.

Product Review: DHC Deep Cleansing Oil

The Deep Cleansing Oil from DHC is so popular that the company claims a bottle is sold around the world every 10 seconds. While the bottle may look like nothing special, it houses a very amazing cleansing oil - the best I've tried! In addition, one lucky reader can win a full bottle of the Deep Cleansing Oil (in addition to some of my other 2015 beauty favorites) by entering my giveaway here! Trend Discourse: Short Cropped Turtlenecks & Mocknecks

Looks like winter has finally come to NYC after a rather abnormally warm December. This week was the first time I felt the bitter chilly winds that are waiting to invade my parka for the entire month of January and February. To fight the cold, I've been loving turtlenecks whether they be in a chunky knit, or a thinner cotton blend. One particular type of turtleneck has been catching my eye recently though - the cropped turtleneck or mockneck. Paired with some high waisted jeans and some winter booties, I think it's a really chic winter outfit!

Finally, today I will be giving the Midnight Recovery Concentrate by Kiehl's its own full review today.
