Beauty Discourse: My "Triple Cleansing" Routine

I know, I know, for some it is already crazy enough that there is such a thing as "double cleansing," but recently I've noticed that my skin is looking super smooth, flake free, and more supple due to a new triple cleansing routine that I've been trying. As a disclaimer, I only wash my face once a day at night, and I wash my face the tail end of my shower after I've already done everything else.

Step 1: Removing Makeup with DHC Deep Cleansing Oil
First step just before I'm about to shower, I take off most of my makeup with the DHC Deep Cleansing Oil in the sink.

Step 2: Cleansing the Face with the Honey & Oat Cleanser by Michael Todd
Still the same step as double cleansing, the second step is where you really ensure that all your makeup is removed. I'm still completely in love with the Honey & Oat cleansing by Michael Todd (this has to be at least my fifth bottle of this stuff). As I mentioned before, I cleanse my face at the end of my shower right before I hop out.

Step 3: Gently Exfoliating with Tatcha's Polished Rice Enzyme Powder
This is where the routine obviously differs since I'm adding a third step and I'm incorporating an exfoilator. After my skin is completely clean, I use the Tatcha Rice Enzyme Powder to gently exfoliate my face right after I cleansed my face with the Honey and Oat cleanser. This stuff is gentle enough to use everyday and the powder transforms into this creamy slightly foamy texture.

The result after this? My skin is extremely smooth, flake free, and absorbs my serums and moisturizers better. I think the key however is that you have to add an extremely gentle exfoliator to your routine! I definitely recommend the exfoliating powder by Tatcha, but Amore Pacific also makes a great exfoliating powder as well!
