Product Review: Kiehl's Midnight Recovery Concentrate

I feel like I've already talked about this product several times even though today's post is the full review of the product! I mentioned this product my posts about three skincare items that have transformed my skin, my updated winter skincare routine, and my 2015 favorites post which was posted yesterday. Finally, today I will be giving the Midnight Recovery Concentrate by Kiehl's its own full review today.

Review

I've obviously spoiled the review for this product because again it's been featured on several other posts already. I really like this face oil because it's hydrating but feels so light on the skin. The dropper is very precise and it's easy to control how many drops come out of the dripper. The oil smells divine and herbal, and I look forward to applying to my face every night. Speaking of, I use around 2-3 drops every night after my essence and toner, and I gently pat it into my skin. Since I don't use that many drops, my skin absorbs it rather quickly. Afterwards, I seal it all in with the Kiehl's Super Multi Corrective Cream. In the morning, my skin feels so smooth and hydrated. My acne blemishes are also not as flakey, but if they are, it's just the outer part of the skin flaking off (which is a good thing). Overall, I think it has done great things to my skin including smoothing it out, fading some hyperpigmentation from my acne, and hydrating my skin from the inside out. I highly recommend this oil, especially if you are looking for a light but seriously hydrating facial oil!

Concluding Remarks

If you have sensitive skin or acne prone and are iffy about using a facial oil, definitely ask for a sample at your local Kiehl's counter. I received a sample before I invested in the full bottle. However, it does come in several sizes ranging from 1oz to a huge 3.4oz. You don't need much (and you shouldn't use much product unless you have older mature skin or severely dry skin) so even the 1oz bottle should last you a good while.
