A Lush Shower Lineup

I've always had a couple Lush products here and there in my shower but I've never been a Lush addict or someone who rushes into Lush every time they release a limited edition product. After popping into one of their stores a month or two ago, I grabbed one of their shampoo bars since I was running out of shampoo. After using their shampoo bar, I fell completely in love. Maybe I'm late to the bandwagon, but I'm currently using all Lush products in the shower from my hair to my body.

Rose Jam Shower Gel
Starting out with my favorite product first, Rose Jam has become my holy grail shower gel. It shares the same scent as Ro's Argan Body Conditioner which is a beyond intoxicating rose, lemon, and vanilla scent. It is my favorite scent from Lush, so when they released Rose Jam for a limited time, I didn't hesitate to purchase the largest bottle. It lathers up so well on a body loofah, and the smell fills up the shower. I use it sparingly since I'll be devastated when I run out!

Jason and the Argan Oil Rose Shampoo Bar
Thankfully when I do eventually run out of Rose Jam, at least my hair can still smell like it. Jason and the Argan Oil has the same scent as Rose Jam and Ro's Body Conditioner. I was reluctant at first when I purchased it since I didn't know how a bar could lather up like a normal liquid shampoo. Boy was I wrong - this stuff lathers up extremely well! It also doesn't strip my hair, but leaves it soft but clean at the same time.

Godiva Shampoo Bar
After purchasing Jason and the Argan Oil's shampoo bar, I was obviously addicted and needed (yes, needed) to get another shampoo bar. After smelling Godiva which is a gorgeous jasmine scented shampoo bar, I knew I had to have it. Godiva is slightly more moisturizing than Jason and the Argan Oil, but lathers up just as well. If we're being honest here, I really do think I need another shampoo bar in another scent.

American Cream Hair Conditioner
I was a little hesitant to purchase American Cream at first glance given the fact that my hair is fine and oily, but I was assured by the Sales Associate that despite what it looks like it's actually not a heavy conditioner. She was absolutely right, and American Cream is lighter than some of the drug store brands that claim to be made for fine hair. It smells sweet since it's strawberry milkshake scented, but it's not cloyingly sweet.

Big Shampoo
Big has been a longtime favorite of mine. I use it as a clarifying shampoo since my hair is easily prone to build up. The smell is kind of horrific, but you do get used to it and I personally tolerate it since it works so well at removing build up. Afterwards, my hair literally makes a squeaking noise when I rub my finger against it. Strong stuff.

Do you have any Lush favorites?
