Black Friday Haul

I did quite a lot of shopping online during this year's Black Friday. I purchased a little bit of everything this time around - clothing, shoes, beauty, and home decor. Some things I purchased I knew I would most likely be keeping, and some I had to try on and see first before making the decision. Most things (much to my wallet's dismay) made the cut, so continue reading to see which items are keepers!

I've been on the hunt for a bomber/varsity jacket for the past year. None of the bomber jackets I had come across were making the cut, and speaking of cut, most cuts of the jackets that are available now were way too 90's in that it stopped short of where I wanted it to hit on my torso. This is why I was ecstatic to find this Zara bomber jacket with faux leather sleeves! It fit s like a traditional bomber/varsity jacket, and it I think the faux leather sleeves gives it that unique edge over other bombers. I also got these block heeled contrast toe heels for work. I was surprised they came in a size 5, but I'm super happy to see that Zara is starting to carry more and more of their shoes in a size 5!

JCrew was having an amazing 40% off of everything sale during Black Friday weekend! Unfortunately half of my order ended up not making the cut, but these two pieces did. This plaid shirt immediately caught  my eye when I was browsing the site. I thought it was the perfect top to wear during the holiday season if you paid it with a metallic or sequin skirt! I also picked up this dress for work. I love JCrew dresses for work because they always fit me well and come in very professional fabrics, but are cut in a very elegant and stylish way.

One of the biggest purchases I made was the Moon Parka by Wilfred Freed. My other parka (which I also bought at Aritzia) was getting a little worse for wear after wearing it for two years straight in NYC. I wanted another parka that was stylish but also provided the same amount of warmth was my older parka. When I saw the Moon Parka I fell immediately in love with the fabric - it's shiny! Fortunately, it's also just as warm as my older parka.

West Elm

Our coffee table from West Elm desperately needed a tray for it. Since the top was glass, I didn't want to constantly place things directly on the glass. I was considering an acrylic or white tray, but when I saw the reclaimed wood tray was on sale for $40 during Black Friday, I couldn't resist making it a part of my home because it adds a bit of warmth  and texture to the living room and coffee table.

I couldn't resist purchasing the items by CosRx that have been on my to try list when SokoGlam had a 30% off sitewide promotion. I purchased the Snail Mucin Power Essence and the Galactomyces Power Essence and spoiler alert - I absolutely love them both! I also got the Acne Pimple Patches by CosRx, but I know what to expect from these since they're also made by other Kbeauty companies. Last but not least, the orange gummy bear is an adorable hand cream by Skinfood! I can't believe how cute it is and it smells so delicious - must get them in other scents and I think they would be great Christmas gifts or stocking stuffers!

H&M was having several promotions over the Black Friday weekend and I purchased a white silk blouse (no longer on the website, but slightly similar option here) which is a part of their Premium Collection for around 40% off the retail price. H&M also makes some great and affordable home decor items, and I also threw in my cart two gray velvet pillow cushion covers that I think will be a great addition to my bed.
