Three Things - 3.21.2017

Recently I was on the hunt for a new luxury perfume. I'm extremely picky about perfumes and I weirdly enough feel guilty when I stop using an old perfume for a newly discovered one (does anyone else also feel this? I can't be the only one). But this time around, I can't seem to quit my old perfume even though I found a new one I love!

Diptyque Baies

Diptyque Baies is seriously bae. I can't get enough of the rose and black currant notes. As you can see from the picture above, I'm probably on the last couple months of the large eau de toilette L'Ombre dans L'eau. I can't live without it even after wearing it every single day since I got it last spring. Will definitely be repurchasing the large size when I run out!

Zara Bell Sleeved Dress

Clearly bell sleeves is a strong trend for the spring, it's everywhere in every high street brand from sweaters, to shirts, to as you can see above dresses. This particular dress is from Zara (this particular print is sold out, but it's available in black here). I think most of the bell sleeved clothing can swerve a tad too 80's and 90's which is not my cup of tea, but I thought Zara did a nice job with this dress.

Byredo Blanche

As I mentioned earlier, I'm currently cheating on my usual perfume with the new to me Blanche by Byredo. I've been eyeing certain perfumes by Byredo, but was never fully ready to purchase one despite smelling a few at Byredo counters. After some help with a very helpful sales associate at Barneys a few weeks ago, I settled on Blanche because it worked well with my body chemistry, and it smells like fresh linen. If you like Lazy Sunday Morning by Maison Martin Margiela, it's a similar feeling and scent composition, but Blanche is cleaner and lighter.
