Winter 2017 - Empties

I've got another round of empties for you all today! Again, it's usually almost all skincare since I tend to stick with the same handful of makeup products. Speaking of skincare, I'm currently going through my Priming Moisturizer Rich moisturizer by Glossier like no joke - it's been crazy cold here in NYC! I won't be surprised if that shows up in the next empties post at the rate I'm using it. As usual with all of my empties posts, I'll share which ones I'll be repurchasing and which ones I will pass on.

The Creamy Eye Treatment by Kiehls is a skincare staple for me - it's extremely hydrating but it doesn't feel greasy and it absorbs well in the under eye area. The Premium Beauty Cleansing Oil by Shu Uemura is pricey and the main ingredient was mineral oil which I was bummed about, but it actually took off all my makeup well and there was never any residue left. Still, it's probably not going to be a repurchase for me. The Luna Sleeping Oil by Sunday Riley is also another pricey product, when I first reviewed it I said I would repurchase it, now in retrospect I think there are probably cheaper alternatives (hint: I purchased the advanced retinoid oil by Deciem which is under $10). Moving onto things I will be repurchasing, I love the Skin Recovery Cream by Avene. The packaging means that you never touch the product that is inside the squeeze tube which is great for those with sensitive skin. It's gentle but extremely hydrating. I also really enjoyed the Artemisia Watery Calming Cream by Hanyul, it was also gentle bu surprisingly hydrating for a gel-cream moisturizer. I would consider purchasing it again in the future if I didn't have a gel moisturizer in my current beauty stash. Lastly, although it looks like it's full of product I assure you it's dried up inside, my beloved NARS Creamy Concealer. It's my third empty tube of this stuff and I can't live without it. Although, I do have my eye on their new pot concealer.

Would love to know what you've used up recently and loved!
